Uniforms and Dress Code

School Uniform Requirements (including gym uniforms and out of uniform days):

At St. Vincent Ferrer we enjoy a proud tradition of excellence in all that we say and do. Our School Uniforms, while allowing for some individual choices, help carry on traditions from our past, connecting us with proud previous generations and unifying the current student body. Our Uniform Policy is for all students grades JK - 8.

Preschool students are NOT required to wear uniforms, but are advised to dress comfortably for indoor/outdoor play and messy art/learning projects.

We are also going back to an old tradition. On days we attend Mass as a school (Wednesdays), we want to be at our best! Hoodies, sweats with large SVF logos on back are not to be worn. Cardigans, small crested SVF logo items are preferred items during those colder months. Students are not allowed to use dress down passes on days we will be attending Mass. We want to look our best as we represent our school and celebrate together with our community!

While the faculty and staff have the responsibility to review and respond to student appearance, the school expects the parents to monitor the appearance of their children before the child enters the building. We suggest the following standard at home: If it is questionable whether an item of clothing would be acceptable, then students should not wear it to school.
