What makes our school feel like home:

What Transfer Families Are Saying

" Our daughter came to SVF this year as a transfer student because our school closed. At a time when we were looking for high school's we had to pivot and look for a new school that would welcome our daughter as an 8th grader.

We can't begin to tell you what a wonderful experience we have had at SVF. From the moment we stepped into the Open House we have been treated like family. Father Barranger, Ms. Aspell, Ms. Bolton and Ms. Lucas are always happy to see you and be of service. Our daughter's teachers are absolutely amazing! Mr. Bolton, Mr. Stevenson and Ms. Arnston are a wonderful team.

As busy parents, we appreciate receiving weekly newsletters informing us of the learning objectives and upcoming events at school. The teachers respond to our emails in a timely manner, and they are always so pleasant. Our daughter loves her new school. She has made amazing friends and is so excited to be involved in all of the extracurricular activities that are offered at SVF.

If you are looking for a school for your child, look no further. SVF has a lot to offer in a warm, spiritual and joyful environment. Your children will excel academically as well as develop a passion for service and fun.

- Mario R (8th grade parent)

" When nearby St. William’s School closed its doors, we just knew the best option was St. Vincent Ferrer School for Cecilia. We were welcomed with arms wide open by Principal Aspell, Judy Bolton, and all the friendly staff.

Cecilia loves her new school and classmates. Her third grade Teacher, Mrs. Riney, has been wonderful, challenging Cecilia and her classmates to learn about the world and themselves.

What an amazing community to be a part of! We can’t thank SVF enough for their assistance with the transition. Cecilia is so happy and learning so much!

Bonus: the playground is incredible, and Grand Person’s Day is such a positive experience for everyone!

- Joe G. (3rd grade parent)

" Choosing the right school for your children is never an easy decision. Initially, we chose a nearby Catholic school, but over time, we felt something was missing.

After exploring other options, we decided on St. Vincent Ferrer. It was a tough choice, but it turned out to be the best one.

We absolutely love it here! The community feels more like family, and my kids are excited to go to school every day. I've seen remarkable growth in their education, from improved homework completion to stronger test performance. They’ve also developed a love for sports, playing in every sport offered.

Their newfound confidence is something every parent hopes for, and I’m so grateful to witness it firsthand. It’s truly a joy to see my kids thrive! '

- Stephanie R (2nd & 4th grade parent)

" My first and third graders recently transferred from another Catholic school, and I am delighted to share that their transition has been incredibly smooth and positive.

From the moment they joined the SVF community, they were welcomed with open arms by the dedicated faculty, staff, and students. The nurturing and faith-filled environment at SVF has not only helped them adjust quickly but has also allowed them to thrive academically, socially, and spiritually like never before.

The commitment of the teachers and administration to fostering a strong educational foundation while encouraging personal growth has made a profound impact on my children. They come home excited to share what they’ve learned, eager to participate in school activities, and most importantly, they feel a true sense of belonging..."

- Rosemary S. (1st & 3rd grade)

" ...Some families choose St. Vincent’s because of its commitment to Catholic education, or its rigorous curriculum and high academic standards.. Other families fall in love with the beautiful campus, and the sprawling playground that our kids enjoy during and after school.

But my husband and I chose St. Vincent’s because we were seeking the sense of community and belonging that we both know is critical for children’s growth and development. We were seeking
a village, and we found that here..."

- Lauren P. ( Parent & SVF Alum)

" We are happy to be a part of the SVF family and friars. We have been here for 5 years ever since our old school shut down.

We’ve had 3 children attend, and it has been great to be in this community. We found a lot of faculty, teachers, and coaches that helped us transition, which made it easier on our children and ourselves. Families and friends in the community also helped us feel welcomed, which we greatly appreciate.

Now, our younger son is in 6th grade, and we have gotten a lot of support from multiple people within his class and faculty during a difficult situation.

Throughout our time at this school, we have found that the SVF family continues to be there for us rooted in their faith. "

- Katarzyna P. (SVF Parent)
