G. Read sight words.
H. Recognize classmates' names in print.
I. Know left to right progression in print.
J. Begin reading simple stories.
Mathematics- Scott Foresman
A. Write and recognize the numerals 0-31.
B. Count in sequence 0-100.
C. Demonstrate 1:1 correspondence from 1-20.
D. Identify and extend patterns (e.g., AB, ABC, ABB).
E. Classify/sort objects using two out of three attributes (e.g., color, size, shape).
F. Identify a circle, square, triangle, rectangle and diamond.
G. Draw a circle, square, triangle rectangle and diamond.
H. Describe attributes of two and three dimensional shapes.
I. Add/subtract simple addition/subtraction sentences.

Writing

Religion- RCL Benzinger

Kindergarteners learn various social studies, health, and science concepts during weekly unit themes. We do this through nonfiction books, experiments, art projects, and writing. Topics include, but are not limited to: famous Americans, American holidays, rules, safety, voting, seasons, weather, recycling, life cycles, nutrition and dental health.
Students enhance their knowledge of reading, language arts and math skills through learning centers, journaling, sight word study, and alphabet activities.
